There's something about having an idea and hashing out a new story. Something that you've never thought about before. Something you've never discussed.
This one is different though. Not only did I divulge everything with a friend, they're also beta reading for me. I've never used a beta before in my life. I've been a beta, but I've never had one for my own stories. I think it's that I'm worried about the criticism or something. I'm not sure.
However, my beta reader is amazing and encouraging. Everything you'd want in a beta reader and I'm so happy I went this way. I wasn't even sure I was going to write this story much less post it. Sometimes I'll write multi-chapter fics and just...never post them for whatever reason is bothering me that day.
This one just...feels different. I'm actually proud, kinda, of this one. Not that I'm not proud of the others, but...yeah.
